KVK1 62 Help

Looking for feedback on this KVK marked 62. Is this an example of a late war badge, where the manufacturing technique changed to have the hinge and catch constructed as part of the actual badge? This badge came in, what I believe to be, an absolutely original case. Comments?

Hello Brian

I have no problems with your case or cross, both look fine to me. From the pictures it would indicate this cross has about 10 - 20% of its original finish left. Would we be able to get a level, side on view of the hinge? I don't know about this being a latewar badge as Dresden got flattened by the allies in Feb 1945, depends how late war you are talking I guess? 1944?

Didn´t you post that zinc cross already a while ago and got oks? Both case and cross are fine for 62.

Frank... I haven't posted this set on this forum. I had posted it on the estand a few weeks agao but it didn't sell. I'm going to post it a gain at a lower price, but I just want to make sure it's legit before doing so.
