            I looked at a few "drawings" in an EK book I have, and realized that they are really just touched-up photos. Some of the details are so clear it's possible to figure out makers. I always wonder about the EK shown in the Assmann catalogue that had a round-3. It just seems so odd that the artist would invent that feature.

            So odd that I tend to think of Assmann as one of the makers of the R-3 EK.

                      Thanks guys.

                      One nice thing about this Spange is it's weight and material. Very, very crisp strike, heavy and solid feeling. The patina is killer.

                        These clasps are hard to find, finding a marked one is nearly impossible.....
