    Court mounted EK 2

    Hey guys,

Got this EK 2 with a FLAK grouping and wanted to ask if anyone could determine the maker of it. Also, is the case it sits in related to official issue cases in any way? (I doubt it, but wanted to make sure)

    Any help is appreciated!

    Thanks!

        Hello
the iron cross is good anf very nice mounted with the "spange". Sincerly I don't know who 's manufacturer.
Very hard to find origins of this case... in the true I have some doubts about cloth, is sewn ? can you make a close-up of that area ?

              Hey guys,

Thanks for your answers! I really have no idea, is the case anything related to an original one? Were there even cases for court mounted EK 2s? Is WMF an official manufacturer of cases?
I got the case along with all the other stuff of this soldier.

              Thanks again!

This is the only cross I could find which comes close to matching yours. It's by the maker Grossmann & Co. (11). The irregular trimming cut of the outside of the frame looks similar, as well as the beading pattern and dates. I've seen many Grossmann's with this irregular outside trimming cut, but not all exactly the same. Slight variations, but all marked '11'. I hope this helps.
