Knights Cross opinions

I would like some opinions on this, i would never spend such an amount of money without opinions from WAF's experts.

I know the pictures aren't great, but does this unmarked Knights Cross have any chance?

Do you have any side angle shots? Is there any sign of frosting (look in the crevices of the beading)?

Dietrich will, I am sure, say "NO" because it does not match one of the known makers in his excellent book and because it closely resembles a cross which has been labeled as a fake. There exist, however, photos of crosses in wear which show strong simililarities to this one, including specifically the slight instrusion of the ring into the frame.

If this piece is priced high, I could NOT recommend that you buy it, based on what is accepted in today's market. RK's which vary are, at this time, only for the very experienced collector.

Thank you Leroy for your information, rest assured that if i had more, or better, photos i would have posted them.
The Cross is not expensive, i guess entry level price.
However, i would not be in the market for anything other than a 100% correct cross.

I take it that you mean a "100% correct cross by a recognized maker", which is certainly the way to go for anyone who is thinking of entering this market.
