        Please see Gordon's book page 336. He describes this as an example of "other manufacturers" and "a file quality example of the variant KC with rounded "corners" to the frame adjacent to the swastika."

        The discussion by Gordon goes on from page 336.

        Know ye that there are people who love these and hate these. Because Gordon appears to find them OK by no means infers you must agree.

        Here is a page from the famous period magazine called "Signal". Some have advanced the theory, that this is indeed the "round corner rk".

            Here is some research I did with the round corner cross at top with the signal photo just above. The signal example is in the MIDDLE of each of these side by sides.

            I've attempted reverses of each or negatives to help see the beading and make comparisons.

              Here is a comparison of the Signal RK to the Round Corner RK. Note you have to try to distinguish in the Signal photo what is and is not an extension to the dates but are just pixels giving the illusion of date matter. Play with for a while.

                Here is another wartime publication, I neglected to note it in the photo I saved. When Dietrich or someone else reminds me I'll change this description;

                  Here is a closeup of the above photo, shows the date and beading much better than the Signal photo.

                      DONE, Dietrich may have some vet photos to show with vets wearing what we think are round corner rk's. Some photos better than others.

                        And

                        Here's the info on the publication that the black and white photo is from. I believe it was put out by a regiment. (Jujuy has the original.)

                          This is in my opinion one of the better ones.
