I'm reluctant to say. It doesn't match an Otto Schickle, and I'm not totally convinced it's a Mayer either. The hardware is new to me. I just can't place this spangen. Sorry, Trevor.

It is sold as a repro, and looks a lot like a Mayer to me, but the hardware is different from Mayers I've seen. I suppose it's a fake Mayer? I'm just wondering if anyone believes it has a chance to be real?

looks like maybe a cast of a Mayer. I've seen pins like that on repros too (and the finish looks very 'Eastern Euro')
the swas looks unfinished. I think you'd need good measurements, and have it in hand to have a guess at authenticity. But for me, I don't believe
