From the not very detailed photos, the cross looks OK, but the case is a modern reproduction.

Prague was controlled by the ss for many years, I don't understand why your not hunting locally thru private individuals there, instead of bidding at auctions where youll not only pay more, but have a chance at getting a repro. There is much in the woodwork there in cz. Its like swimming in a lake, and being thirsty at the same time. Bid , but think about what i'm saying.

You are trying to be smart or what? I live in Prague and I know what is in Prague.. everything valuable was sold to Russia. There is chance to purchase original crosses only from countryside.

Poland was in war with Third reich and there were lot of german soldiers.
EK from photos seems like original for me. I am trying to just find out any information about case.

Private individuals in Czech Republic are dead or they trashed german militaria when communism came...And please, learn something about history of ww2 if you want to be smart. Thank you

btw haunting where is almost everything collected is really useless. There are small auction portals on internet in my country where can collectors purchase (if they are not idiots) very fine originals for good money. marked crosses for ... 100$ etc... I am purchasing lot of EKs in Germany (aprox. 90€ per one) and Poland (100$). So please, be so kind and do not learn me where to collect please.. also we have in Czech republic lot of battlefileds.. but quality of items founded there is more than bad.

I saw several 10000% original sites with militaria in the USA and I was laughing like hours, 80% are fakes for very high prices
So let me collect originals from countries where the war actually was and you can keep collecting from your sites or individuals. )

            Sorry for my English.

              Hi Josef,

I think the cross may be a '65' -- looks good anyway.

Case is a well-known modern reproduction. Bid for the cross only, no higher, is my advice.

PS: Your information about collecting in the Czech Republic is interesting to read, thank you.
              Best regards,

cross should be 137, it is marked one.

Oh, sorry didn't see that... I think it's good, case definitely bad.
