    EKII Spange. Warning! Extreme closeups:)

Hi Spangen admirer and others. My first Spange and testpics with the new toy, a USB-Microscope. Know what maker it is, but only because it was bought from an Expert

First one to call the maker wins a nonfunctioning green toaster!

Now you just have to get the lighting right......and your focal point a little more steady. I already have a non functioning green toaster. hahaha
Is it one of the blue plastic microscopes? If so the cameras in those are like 1 mpl. Ive used my microscope, and ive found the digital camera with extra lenses held to it, works better. Dont give up though..keep trying till you get what you desire eventually. You get a C for effort.

It's called Digimicro 1.3 mp, a cheap Chinese one bought on Ebay for 40E.

Agree, the focus and light settings is not that impressive but i'ts a cheap 1.3 MP one. Biggest problem is the flat focal point, there is no focus depth at all. Actually get better pics with closeup function on my Digital compact but not as close as this.

Problem to save the pic too, Microscope got a button for that but it means the pics get easily blurry when pushing it. Wish the software had a "pic trigger" so one could do the pics on computer. Used the "print screen" fuction but that is a bit time consuming.

Best thing about the Microscope is that you can have a look at a cross on the screen and at the same time loup another in hand for comparising purposes.

if you have a system camera, the easiest is to buy a simple lense, there are cheap one that can be used with any optic. Or buy a macro optic but the good ones are pretty expensive. THe 4 lenses set I bought didnt cost much at all.
