    EK1 L/53 cased Value?

I have a cased L/53 1st class in beautiful shape. Can you guys please give me an idea of the value? Low to High. The case is LDO marked and also has the L/53. The case does show wear and does not have a button. The cross is not vaulted. Thanks for your time.

    Buffalo,
First off, welcome to the forum! You've come to a great place with lots of knowledgable people.

UNFORTUNATELY....your "beautiful shape" might be "average" to me, and "poor" to collector XYZ. So without photos, high to low could be $100 to $450. And that's a pretty wide range.

If you have photos, you can link to them if they're hosted on an open site, or if you're a member here, you can upload yourself.

    Hope that little bit helps.

    best
    Hank

      Welcomb : A picture is needed .
As Hank said ; a fair range on price . Sounds like a late case .
Here is an early one .

Is this me or does this look like an L/52 mark inside the case?

The cross is ok , just a special variant . The case is marked L/53 ... this was the dealers picture . I have looked at it closely and it is the material weaving and the angle that makes it look like a L/52 .

Photos coming soon of Ek1 L/53

Thanks for the info and welcome Hank and friends! I'll try and get some photos on tonight when the wife gets home. My cross and case really look different then the photos posted. Best Regards, Lou
