    Deumer update

it recently wrote about my recents deumers updates
"I am still looking for Deumer Schinkel EK1 (with pin & SB) in a perfect condition."
Here it is, with light patina on the frame but perfect condition with 100% black paint. (Maybe one day I will find a 100% mint too)

This one is the non magnetic one, now I'm missing the magnetic one...

Hope you find one. Thats quite an unusual mark. Are all deumer-schinkel pins marked that way with the lines above and below? Nice patina. i dont think i have even one deumer -schinkel 1st class cross.

          thanks,

just for the precision, the second cross is not a schinkel but a normal Deumer EK1. the most unusual is the mark on the pin (few others a known).
The mark is the usual Deumer L/11 in a Box. I think the reason why it was stamped on the pin instead of the lower arm can be simple...
On mine the hook was soldered lowest than usual on L/11 crosses and it don't let enough place to put the Mark

              Thanks !

Not a book but when I will have studied them enough and find all variations I will probably start a thread detailing parallel time evolutions of EK/KVK .
Then there could be a good discussion & study start for anyone wanted to contribute to this tread.
I think Deumer was probably the manufacturer (or one of) having produced the more numerous EK/KVK & probably the more variations. I like studying them.

It 'll be a very interesting thread for me because I really love all Deumer's products.

Yes, I agree, I don't know why they were so damned to make so many variantes... .. but we can say today it 's a positive thing and very interesting !!!
