    EK2 Maker?

What can be said about this EK2?

I was looking for a very particular type when I stumbled across this on the net. It's not what I was after, I don't think, but it looks potentially interesting nonetheless.

Can anyone put a maker to it?

This is truly the only photo available.

    Thanks for any information.

    Best regards,
    Streptile

Thanks Fabri... well, I ordered it, we'll see if it's available and then what it is.

          Any other thoughts out there?

From the photo I can't say with certainty who made the frame, but the core looks like either a type-1 or 2 'teardrop 9' Juncker. Whoever buys this cross I'd like to see close-ups of the frame. One thing that stands out to me in the frame is the upper right inside corner, how it's lower than the left side corner. I have many Junckers with this same characteristic.

WAF resized the first photo. Here's a blowup, larger. Any further thoughts? This one ought to be a bit clearer. Thanks in advance.

                  Nice cross Trevor!

Outside and inside cross-hatched corners. I'd say it looks like a Juncker.

Thank you, Robert. I was looking through many, many dealer sites for the "W&L" one, and I came across a few other nice unmarked ones in the process. It's amazing what you can turn up if you have an afternoon at work to spare

I haven't received any confirmation that it's mine yet, though, so we shall see. It came with a document dated 1940, for what it's worth. I am always a bit leery of cross/document combos, because you just never know, but 'twas sold as a set, so I bought it as a set. The document is all hand-written, which was another red flag, but the set was worth it for the cross alone.

I should probably post this in Documents for some feedback.

Thanks Robert. The document got some interesting comments -- some and at least one tentative -- but I am inclined to like it. Over all this set could be a nice Juncker and an early document to the same man for a very good price. We'll see.
