    2 cased EK1's

I already have these EK1's some time in my collection. I hope they are good but can you give me more information about the makers of this EK1's?
The left is unmarked and the right is marked L 16 and in the case 621.KB

    thanks for all information.

            Ek1

L/16 is Steinhauer & Luck. I do not have one of these in my collection so cannot compare it but yours looks ok. I am no specialist so I hope I am not telling you some rubbish here.
No idea about the other one. Something to do with Godet?

The L/16 on the right is original to me. No problem there.
I dont know about the unmarked one to the left.

              Cheers

                  detail of his decorations.
The badge right under is the Flemish Tollenaere badge.

I agree, they both look good. The one on the right is a Steinhauer & Lück.

The example on the left is also believed to be an original example, maker unknown. It is discussed in the following thread: http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...ad.php?t=40328. I trust this information is helpful.

Thank you very much for this thread. I didn't knew the left one was a discutable EK1. I've got it directly from the family of a Flemish volunteer, so in my opinion this is an 100 % original EK1. I also have a picture of him where he is wearing his decorations.

So, nobody has any idea of the maker of this EK1?

Is this the normal way to wear his decorations? I find it strange that he wears his EK1 under his pz abzeichen..? Is this normal?

                      Dear Luc

In accorardance to German regulations the Iron corss should be worn higher than the Panzer badge. Typically the Iron Cross should be centered on the pocket with the Panzer badge to the wearer's right and lower than the IC 1. The individual wearing the Panzer badge was probably very proud of his Panzer badge and chose to wear it this way (or perhaps was not aware of the regulations)
