    EK1 for discussion

Came across this EK1 on this forum.

Its a dug item and from whats shown, how can one tell if its a good one and why? I'd like to seek some learned opinions please.

From what i see, the year, especially the 3 looks odd.

but when closeup, the numerals look good.

Based on the 1st pic I would skip this one.

It's on the Estand now and I've linked this thread to the sale. No point having a discussion if a potential buyer (and there is one) doesn't know about it.

To me it looks like the inside impression of the L58 screw back disc. I've twisted the picture around so you can see what it looks like from the other side. I think the outside of the screw disc is corroded so you can't see the letter/numbers from that side.

However, even though that maybe from a Souval Cross ... that's not what it's attached to.

            Good Evening Darrell,

I was thinking the same thing but wasn't able to manipulate the photo to illustrate it as you have done.

I also agree that it's not a Souval EK.

its stamped L/58 but i have my doubts that its a souval.

              further opinions will be appreciated.
              thanks.
