German Cross in Gold, rare cloth version.

Hi there,

This German Cross in Gold looks very unlike everything I have ever seen before.
I have been searching the net to find some pictures to compare with, but can’t find any cross that is similar to this one, either fake or real.

What do you think about this example?

The stitching around the swaz (the silver thread) and the fact that the silver ring around the wreath is silver thread and not spiraled silver wire are just two factors that put me off.

I agreed with Dietrich and George on this fake cloth DKiG. The silver stitching around the swas was not in same way as the original cloth DKiG. This will not go into my collection. It will go into junk bin. Thanks! James
