    Schinkel EKII

    Hi all,

    I already have this Schinkel for some years, but never really knew if it was ok. Did some search on the forum, but didn't find much, don't know if that is a good or bad sign? I only found one picture that looks like mine.

    The "3" in the date is very differnt from the average Schinkel.

    Would like to here your thoughts on this one.

    welcome to the "intermixed Schinkel EKII club" ..
    you have a very nice cross, absolutely orginal, uncommon and with beautiful patina !!
    there are some threads dedicated to this Schinkel type.

      Thanks for your reply! That is good news

      I never gave this cross the benefit of the doubt and because of that is was in a drawer most of the time

      I feel stupid that I didn't find the threads you are talking about, is there a special name/maker I can use in the search function?

                              Both crosses are nice indeed, but not from the same maker.

                              Mark's schinkel is a meybauer, the maker of the intermediate is unknown (still)
