Left one is marked 25, the makers mark is spot on textbook, but what do you think of the shape? I have a couple of other 25's and they dont look the same.

Right one is maker marked but I cant make it out, any idea?

The cross on the right reminds me of a '123'.

As for the '25' - I used to have a marked '25' in the past that looked a bit like that one, it had some filing to the inner corners near the swas also but not as drastic as on yours.
The odd thing about it was the frame - it seemed to have suffered some extreme corrosion resulting in actual holes along areas of the beading. I have never seen this on any other EK until you showed this one. It looks like a similar if not worse case.

In the picture, this corrosion is most evident along the top arm on the reverse of the cross.

I agree with Danny. My '25' has the same rounded inner frame corners. Not the beading, the frame.
