          Oooh Calvin,

          It sends shivers up my spine to see a lovely box taken apart like that, promise me you'll never do it again. The box is 101% original and a nice example in my opinion, and as for the cross I think it looks just fine to me, but the more conversed will give you a better prognosis, so to speak

          I love the inner lid named boxes, very nice.....I hope the cross is okay too.

            That's a nice one, Calvin -- especially with the maker mark stamped upside down like that.

              I have never seen the makers mark upside down ether, all looks good to me though.

                Calvin, that is a very nice early piece and totally right..

                Here's my later L/13 example, it's cased but no MM to the lid..
