    EK1 Spange L/16

Heres an interesting one for all you spange nuts! Just got this very cheap, spange I'm sure is good , case worries me a bit. Let me know what you think.

The spange is zinc and is the best conditioned I have seen one of these. It appears to have a light copper coating under the silver which has helped maintain the finish. Hard to capture but the highlights are polished up! Has that frequently seen beak flaw also.

The case it came in has what appears to be the early print on top and is blacklight dead. Also the insert seems to be fitted to this spange due to the unusual pin setup. Don't think I like the push button though.

    Thanks for looking

    Patrick

                    Case

Post the case in Packet and Case forum. I personally don't like it. I have three cases with that type of button and they look a lot better. Jim

Who is the maker of this style of spange?
                          Thanks,

Believed to be S&L, the design is very distinctive and they come in tombac too. There are a couple of marked tombac examples that have been posted in the past.

Thanks Patrick, I have one in zinc (no finish left), but the hardware is the same (very distinctive). I appreciate the quick response.
