    Ek1 "100"

    Hello,

This one looks OK to me, but the "1939" appears slightly different than on another good "100" marked cross I've seen. The bottom curve on the numbers looks a little "fat" in this example. Maybe it's the angle of the phot and maybe I'm too paranoid, but I'd appreciate other thoughts.

Textbook; everything is perfect. I don't know which core type this is (T-1, T-2, etc.) but it's just fine. 'Douglas 5' has a good mind for which type it is. Maybe he'll see this thread and give an opinion.

          I'd be happy with it

W&L did use a few cores, and this is one of them. As Robert says, Douglas has devised a classification system for them and will likely be able to tell you which yours is.
          Best regards,

I'll share something Douglas put together recently to help us determine the core types of W&L...

Aha! That's what's going on here. I don't have the cross in hand yet to take a close look, but from the pictures this looks like a type 2.

You all have been a tremendous help on this, thanks!
