It's normal that this happen soldiers want to display his bravery medals and usually this Major not wear his ribbon bar so he decided to add the buttonhole ribbonand go againt regulations when he must use also his ribbon bar. Which Waffenfarbe was your tunic? Will be nice to see it complete when you have it.
