New paint job or manufacturer's singularity

Hello People,

I need some opinions. This EK2 has a perfect straight line in the inner frame, as you can see in the pictures. Is this due to a new paint job or is it some manufacturer's detail? Is it normal?

traces of paint don't means necessarily repainted core, in my opinion in this case we need to see the core better but seems not repainted.

This '75' EKII doesn't appear to be repainted. Maybe what you are seeing is a 'vein' (line) on the core's surface, evidence of rust forming under the paint.

I love the look of these 75's, huge Swastika and interesting frames! This looks like wartime finish to me and a nice cross!

No problems or red flags for me, a typical '75' and IMO no sign of a repaint.

I'm confused......I don't see any straight lines on the core at all....I'm assuming that you are referring to the straight line of paint on the 12 o'clock arm of the frame?

If so, I definitely see that...

I've bought an unmarked EK2 and had the same doubt.

Is that the original painting or a new one?

I'm sending some pics for the analysis.

Look at the botton of the frame (the inner margin)

I see no problem with your cross. Some manufacturers painted (touched up) their cores after assembly.
