early and late Godet EKII + EKII m.m. 66

    Hi guys
as promised 2 weeks ago I 've got the early Godet and I must to say in my opinion it 's very very nice. I have cleaned the core because it was very dirty and I 've seen which balck paint has a light coat of transparent paint. We can see it especially in the 9 o' clock arm.
Thanks a lot to all guys showed, commented and explained this kind of EKII in another thread about 2 weeks ago.
It allowed me to decide and to buy this cross.

now I show this very nice EKII in mint conditions I 've bought in the beginning of my collection. It 's a hard to find Friedrich Keller, # 66 in pk liste.

                Fabri -

                Very nice indeed!
Purely out of interest, please can you show me a photograph looking down onto the area where the jump ring is attached to the top of the cross (Godet)?

                The '66' is another beauty.
It must have a very deep stamping to show edges of the stamp itself (the 'box' around the numbers). I have a double stamped '66' and this feature cannot be seen on either stamp.

                Regards - Danny

                  Nice crosses Fabri!
Friedrich Keller is a quality maker and as we have discussed in the past, the only maker who appears to have always stamped his EK2s on the join on the ribbon ring.

thank you very much ! :-)
I have seen also the 138s with the maker stamped on the join but I don't know if it always happened.

Ciao Fabri, two nice crosses indeed.
I particulary like the Godet, has an incredible frame, very neat. Regarding the core, is it possible that this one has the double layer of paint? I have seen some threads on this feature lastly and i understood that probably some makers did it and some not. Does anyone knows if Godet was one of the double layer maker?
                          Many thanks,
                          Stefano
