    Unmarked EKI

    Hello guys
need your opinion about this EKI I have which comes cased, one of the beauties more fine and interesting in my collection.
I 'm love of it because is really very fine and has a different construction.
It 's very very vaulted like some crosses from WW1.
Don't has maker but I 've bought also because I thought it was a very early Juncker because back set up seems the same used by Juncker but I 'm not sure, I have not meet another one to compare. Front side may be W&L but I have some problems to think which they produced this kind of vaulted crosses.
Well let me know what do you think now, thank you.

                      Quit easy to detect :
Your EK1 is not a Juncker cross , .. but certainly a W&L EK1 . Nicely vaulted which is great . Yours is made from a W&L 1st frame die which is quit worn - with a W&L 2nd core ! Those strong vaulted W&L have mostly the 1st core !

So I must up-grade W&L as one of my preferred manufacturers !!!
Never I have thought W&L manufactured these crosses so now I 'm very surprised.
Thank you very much Douglas !!
                          Thanks Mike

Judging by the W&L frame flaw a 41/42 made cross . That cross more likly started out a medium vaulted cross - where someone afterwards added a bit more vaulting to it . This is indicated by the 4 inside corners pointing up and not being flush with the core .

                              Fabri, nice cross indeed
I really like the overall aspect and details and a slightly used patina too.
Is the case marked in any way?
                              Cheers,
                              Stefano
