    Just seen this whilst browsing on ebay.

      It is funny how that works, items bid up like that, I wonder if any of the bidders would really pay what they were bidding?

        Ahhh Yes!

        Auction fever, you have to love it! When I used to trade in antique toys it was infuriating. You'd see the same fellow who walked over to your table at a show with his hands jammed in his pockets... He'd look over every item, occasionally offer you 50 cents on the dollar for what you wanted for the piece... a week later he'd be at an auction paying 2X what you wanted, for the same damn item, in half the condition of yours!
        BUT, such a deal he will brag to you!

          Hi I see it all the time at gun auctions, You can buy same gun at a gun show for half the money and I have seen the same thing for German items at estate auctions, After all it has to be worth alot of money it has a swastika on it

            high price

            you can never know but there might be some kind of bid play going on from the seller biding with another user name. to see if he can get the price up. has any one contacted the buyer to see what responce they get?
