Looks ok to me as well but I'm wondering about the mm.

I'm no expert but the type below is what I would expect to see and yours is clearly different?

The mark is strange, I agree. Looks something like this one, to me (KVK mark on right):

              Yes, the mm looks strange!
Hope this picture shows, that the maker mark was not propper hit.

Now I like to know, if you think this mm is postwar add or an orginal mm but not propper hit, because I have a return back guaranty ;-)

                  Stefan :
Well the KvK is original , with a possibly replaced pin .
I have been working on L/12 marks . Not easy .... but I will have to say > that L/12 mark is not original . It has was I call the flag pole 1 - and the top of the 2 is wider than the bottom and the sharp pointy foot on the 2 !!!
Further more the aray of different surface colores . Correct me if I am wrong here ... the award is plated and then the L/12 mark stamped on . Looking at it the L/12 grove is plated over(after being struck) and is the pin solder looks plated too ?? Some one trying to cover up the fresh L/12 strike mark by aging the back maybe ??

Many Thanks for your opinions ;-)

I tought about, to return this KVK1 back to the seller!

But I think, I will keep it.
Because I know that brass KVK1 from Juncker or other Maker are very rar.

And the maker mark, is a question of faith/belief ;-) I can life with it, because the price was very low ;-)
