    Hey you all.

What is this?? I mean, is it a ordinary cross or Schinkel "B" and who is the maker?

    Any comments are welcome.

      Hello Thomas
really very nice and interesting EKII. In my opinion it 's not a Schinkel "B" but a standard EKII, I let the experts say what is the manufacturar because I don't know...

        HI Thomas,

A Schinkel-B is a Schinkel with a round 3, so this is not one of them as Fabri said. Jim

I'm going to jump in here and ride this thread out. I too haven't a clue as to which maker made this cross, and don't have it in my files. So, here is where I might learn.

            love it
            I have one
            I used to have 3!

it's my favorite, and out of over 100 EK2s I've sold off from my own collection in recent years, this is the only one I kept (unmarked)
            regards

Whoa! Isn't this a match to a mystery I posted a few months ago?

Oh, I am happy to see another one. Damn, it's got a better patina

As I wrote in my other thread:

I happen to love the design of the cross: the dates and especially the frames -- very little curvature to the arms. This one is also nice in-hand.
This is still my favorite design other than Schinkels and R-3s, so I know what you mean, Jon.

Now, let's figure out the maker please.
                    Best regards,
                    Streptile

Interesting that these two have paint loss to the same corner of the swastika... I would love to discover the maker, but so far no one knows. Did you read the thread I linked to? A lot of thinking, not much deciding, unfortunately.
                          Best regards,

By the way, the cross you link to above (and shown here below) does have straight arms like the thread-starter and mine shown above, but it's not the same maker, or at least not the same core, in my opinion. I think yours is probably an UM Otto Schickle judging by the date, especially the '3':

The maker of the cross in question here is still unattributed ().
