K&Q EK2 in Packet

I know K&Qs aren't the rarest crosses out there, but I love this set. I like this particular core type (with the overhung '3' in the obverse date) and this particular packet type (with the thin sans-serif '1939'). It took a lot of looking to find this exact matched set and I'm very happy with it . The cross is unmarked.

Your comments and opinions are very welcome.









PS: this thread is also an experiment in using the WAF photo album feature as a photo-host to include multiple photos per thread that will never disappear.

Copy and paste to the post the webhost's html link. I've used www.photobucket.com in the past and it works fine. Good luck. I would love to see the K&Q packet especially.

I do use photobucket a lot also, but mods are considering banning it, so I'm trying to find a way to use the WAF as a photo-host, and use the urls generated by the forum's album feature as a way to post multiple photos in each post, which I like to do.

Are they up now?

Ha! You posted right at the same time I was editing. Your photos hadn't opened up yet. I like posting multiple photos in a single post as well. It's really a lot nicer. But, with photobucket it takes a lot of work. If and when you get this figured out please let me know the how-to.

Nice set Trevor! I also like these K&Q Beauties and the patina on the cross is perfect! Also like this core. To me the K&Q EKII's feel delicate when compared to other makers such as unknown maker 75.

That's funny. I did figure out how to do it, and will post a thread later with instructions, and link to it from here. The photos seen in post 1 are hosted on WAF, so they won't be censored for the swastika, or deleted by the host. I hope this can be a solution to the external photo-host problems.
