IS there always a makers mark on EK2 ring

I am looking at a "think frame" "round 3" EK2 iron cross and I can not see a makers mark on the ring. I trust the dealer very much but I am new to collecting. I am a new member so I can't post a pic, but will email if you contact me.

    Cheers

I have never seen or heard of a maker mark on any "Round 3" EK 2.

The cross looked fine to me based on the photos you sent me.

        Cheers.

          Golheim,
Do you ever actually thank people for information they kindly share?
Ive checked all of your posts and not one "thank" you to anybody.
You may be new and not able to contribute information yourself but at least use some common courtesy.

people who continually take information without the most basic response to the person providing come across as quite arrogant.

          regards keifer

Yes Good point - Thank you all.

Why you are absolutely right. So sorry. Thank you all for your valuable help. I thought saying thanks on the board may be a waste of space. I post a copy of an email to Peter Wiking after he looked at my cross. So again thanks and sorry for the slight.

              To Peter
Thanks for your input. I am new to collecting, but thanks to the people like you at the board I am happy to report that I have yet not bought a fake. (I THINK). I love the hobby simply from a history perspective. I have the collecting fever.

              Thanks again
