kvk 2nd class ohne schwertern - what do you think ?

Hello all,
I'm quite new to the forum but I thought I'd show you the newest addition to my collection. It's not marked at all. It came with two small ribbons, are they for miniatures ? I'm pretty new to award collecting so I would very much appreciate every opinion on this one.

Hello Bart and welcome to the forum.
Your KVK looks like a fine original. The two minatures are buttonholes for wear on a civilian jacket for example.
I would be interested in seeing the fronts of the minis please?

I don't know KVKs, but Adrian does, and there are many good people here to help with authenticating and collecting. My best advice is to post photos of an item you are considering buying here before you buy it. You'll save a lot of money and a lot of headaches.

Streptile, is 100% correct, 1 mistake could be worth a lot of hard earned money! There are lots and lots of "great people", maybe the best group of people... on this forum! Ask, Ask, and Ask lots of questions and post pics of everything, it does not hurt!
By the way..... Nice KVK/buttonhole ribbons!

sorry to refresh this topic but I have one more question about this cross: Does enyone has an idea what was the maker of this KVK (I've tried to search forum to compare with other pieces but couldn't get any ideas)
