KVK1 w/o swords, need help !!!

Hi, need help with kvk1's. Were all KVK1's 48mm, I have a 45mm w/o swords. Pin is irregular, not the flat, wide type but flat underneath and half round on top. Catch is flat metal, not souval type, whole pin assembly reminds me of the one on my L/14 silver wound badge. Centre reverse is marked RO in a small rectangle. Finish almost looks like silver paint. Seller suspected this was a repro, although both of us are novices. Sorry, unable to post a picture at this stage.
