I purchased this EK last week and I'm wondering if it's real:



No makers mark on the ring.

Your cross is a reworked Fritz Zimmermann. I have yet to see one of these crosses ring-stamped like F. Zimmermann's first pattern cross. The frame has been reworked, widened to correct flaws, and the core has been changed also. Here is a photo showing the early style on the left, and the latewar style (like yours) on the right...
