    S & l rk ?

    Hi,
Am I right in thinking that this non-magnetic cross with all its frosted beading intact,is postwar by S&L.
    Cheers

        I saw this yesterday.

        Ribbon looks postwar too.

I would expect a little more knowledge from a well established dealer.

"Because of its non magnetic centre this piece would generally be regarded either as a replacement or secondary piece that the owner could obtain from the retailer on production of the citation or the recommendation for the award of the Knights Cross, or alternatively it could have been used as a shop display piece, but please be assured it is a correct period pre 1945 piece."

Now, if this is "a correct pre-1945 piece" (which it isn't), why is the price 'only' $ 5200.- cased with ribbon? Most likely because of the stupid websites and writers who talk down perfectly genuine pieces! Shame on them!

That is a rusted and mangled example of a fake Knights Cross. Very interesting! I'm always amazed what the fakers do to sell their wares ...

You can take a screen shot of the webpage, and cut the pictures from there.

I don't have any problems with copying & pasting the images. On the first 'right click' the Copyright warning pops up but once the OK is pressed and the banner disappears the usual copy & paste options pop up.

The 'mangled' RK is in fact a good RK by K&Q.

I can only comment on the picture shown here and based on that I can't see that. But I trust that you saw better pictures!
