Hello Steve,
That's a fine cross you have there as it's not only a Souval frame but also a Souval core. Very nice addition to any collection and in particular when it's cased and boxed.

Is the Souval frame the only one whose outside corners of the ribbing come together like this? ie: That line that separates each ribbing from touching?
Can you help me distinguish the core?
