    it all hinges on this...

    a general question.

on most 1939 EK 1 pinbacks, there is a boxy hinge as seen on any number of
    pictures here and in books.

    i have also seen a flatter/narrower/longer version on far fewer 1939EK 1's.
these are reminiscent of hinges i've seen on imperial EK's.

are these, in fact, imperial leftovers? early WW 2 remakes from imperial
    machining?

    any input is appreciated.
    thanks, joe

Hey Joe as we are not all descriptive nor have the ability to 'paint' a picture useing words...and although I think I know what you are asking, man a picture showing both points would be great!
