    Hello,

here I have a nice EK1 with L15 marker in Case.

I think its an original EK1 factured from Orth with some Souval parts...because this 2 factorys are in the city wien.

But I wanna trade this set here in the forum and one member have some problems with the original of this set....because this I wanna ask here what the other think....is this an original?

I hope someone can help me.

    Regards Ronnie

    Hello,
I would like to see it better, with these pics I think to see a typical Souval front side and back side is ok for me, but sincerly I don't know this maker well.
I tend to an original set.

This type is an accepted (although it is not the most accepted) good "L15".

          Hello Ronnie,

I agree that it's an authentic piece. Not only does it have a Souval frame but also a Souval core with Dipping 3 and thick swas. Souval was known to supply parts to other makers, notably Orth.

          Regards,
          Stu

It´s a good one imo. L15 market with Souval parts. Must be late war.

You can see another thread about EK1 L15 with souval parts http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...d.php?t=293125

The reason why some makers used parts from other makers can be simple. Factorys and and whole citys in Germany was bombed day and night. Not sure about Wien in Austria, maybe there was a lack of material to make these awards in late 1944 & 1945. If producers of tanks and aircrafts had great problems, why not the award producers
