Also, do you show your L/53 screwback anywhere on the forum? I'd be very interested to see it closer.

The Spangen are magnificent. Are there so few accepted variants of the EK1 Spange, or are you still on the hunt for some more?

Overall: congratulations on such a stunning collection, and thank you for sharing it here!

      Best,
The are on the floor as I don't have wall space, plus they are heavy. The L/53 hasn't been shown before.

There are a few that I am after, but yes there are limited makers.

Very well presented Jim. Can you give any information on the display cases, are they made to measure or off the shelf? What dimensions are they?

Thank you for the answers, Jim. I'll look forward to seeing closer shots of the L/53, which must be quite interesting, when you're ready to post them.

          Again, congratulations!

They are off the shelf and measure 20 inch by 24 inch. You can get them in oak, cherry or walnut and cost about $60 each. This is the site I ordered them from https://www.ruddlesmills.com. Jim

                  Well done!

Only a military man can create such an orderly and precise display!
                  Outstanding!

Impressive! One needs a very good network to find all those rarities. Have you shown the non mag EKII Schinkel, the one in the middle? Is that the one with the "straight end 9"? Whats the difference between the thick and thin 'one piece' EKII Schinkel more than the thickness?

I spot a fake in the screwback section of your crosses...they did misspell the "Name" of the crosses, it is spelled scewback.

You better send the whole case to me, and I'll take care of the rest.

Just kidding of course, what a cool and wonderful collection you have.
And I really like the way you display the collection.

Wow, that's it, a year and a half? That's a lot of nice crosses in a year and a half. That is a great gathering of crosses. Would one day love to see a reverse shot of that 800 marked screwback. Wow!
