EK2 Maker?

Hello All,

I am in the process of making placards for the items in my collection and need help identifying some EK2s.

This one appears to have the "extra" material on the upper arm flange where the eye is mounted, and I notice the "3" is set extra high in "1939". A search on these characteristics did not reveal the answer I am looking for.

I think it looks like a Juncker or W&L frame (lug, crunch bead, thin ribs @ 12 o'clock), but the date confuses me. Someone will know the answer.

Looks like a W&L frame, but someone else's core (perhaps?)

Once again correct Adrian :
It is a W&L made cross ; with a 2nd type frame and a 3rd type core .
