Please post your Moritz Hausch-packeted EK2s

Please post your EK2s that came in Moritz Hausch Packets.

I recently acquired an EK2 of a type that was once thought on the forum to be an unmarked '20' CF Zimmermann. That conclusion was reached in this thread (among others). Then it was (probably conclusively) disproved in this thread.

That leaves this type of EK2 unattributed thus far.

Mine came in a Packet marked for Moritz Hausch A.G., Pforzheim (PKZ '127'). There are no known marked '127' EK2s, to my knowledge. I wonder if this type could be an unmarked '127'?

The only evidence I have of this is my single set. Perhaps members could post good photos of EK2s that came in Packets for Moritz Hausch, and we could approach a consensus about this question?

    I will start with mine.

Please post your EK2s that came in Moritz Hausch Packets.

Thank you in advance to any contributors.
    Best regards,
    Streptile

    Trevor,

Happy your cross came with a packet. I'm very interested in the dealer's aquisition of this set, the gentleman you purchased this from. If we have a vet-obtained set we may be on the road to realizing another maker's cross.

      Hi Robert,

Unfortunately the dealer who sold me this set can't remember where he picked it up from. So we are left trying to build a case on circumstantial evidence (which, if plentiful, could be extremely persuasive, as was the case with the UM '86' Paulmann & Crone EK2s as I understand it.)

So... please post your Moritz Hausch-packeted EK2s here for comparison.
      Best regards,
      Streptile

        Trevor,

The P&C's are a lot more credible. I have two sets with packets which came directly from German vets. So, I'm confident (100%) that the P&C's are established.

Oh, yes. Me, too. All I meant was that the evidence leading to the identification of the '86' EKs was circumstantial, but still likely conclusive:

I think if we were to get, say, a half-dozen vet- or family- bought Hausch-packeted EKs like the one shown here, we could reach a similar conclusion. On the other hand, if a dozen Hausch-packeted EKs with provenance were to turn up all different from this one, we'd know something else.
          Best regards,
          Streptile

Yes, I'm with you. Just like the unmarked W&H's. So many sets have differing EKII's.

Interesting thread and I'm curious to learn more on this one.

I may have missed this in the past but out of curiosity have any P&C packets turned up with crosses from other manufacturers?

I just happened on this set on a dealers website. A Moritz Hausch packet with what looks like a Juncker EK. The stamp is hard to read due to the flash but I think you can make out what it says, the description confirms it as Moritz Hausch.

An odd but obvious put-together. I think the Juncker cross has an S&L core by the looks of the date. Are you out there, Douglas?

Thanks for posting it, Adrian. Someone's put the set together no doubt.

I found this photo of a Moritz Hausch set. There is no obverse photo.

                        ..and mine again:

                        I don't think it's a match, but I'm not 100%. Does anyone have a different opinion?

No, the '3' on the cross from the set is really at a slant on top, and the '1's are different.

Yeah, that's what I thought. Thanks The ribbon ring looks enormous on this one, right?

Here's the EK2 I have in my Moritz Hausch marked packet. I have the cross marked as unknown though. What do you think?
