A fellow member would like to trade with me. He is offering a cased EK 1 mm26, B. H. Mayer's Kunst-prageanstalt Pforzheim?, in very good condition he feels it is a hrad one to obtain and puts the value at 400.00 easy...is this correct? Opinions? Thanks

I am loathe to get in the middle of a deal between two fellow members but I suggest that you do a search for "Cased EK1 mm 26" (or some such description) in the Badges and Awards Table or another "For Sale" forum and see what they have been going for.Comment

The one offered to you is a BH Mayer, exactly like the one for sale here but with a case, which is nice. That one's offered for €250 or $350, then figure $125 at least for a case. It's an unusual pin setup for a '26', and its rarity is discussed here.
