A very nice original EK1 K&Q I would be more than happy to have the piece in my collection.

Very nice! I love them in that kind of condition.

I think the core-type A K+Qs (like yours, with the "overhung 3") are harder to find marked '65.'

Many of the '65' marked ones have core-type B and matte paint, like this one:
