    spanish cross CEJ 900

    Hi,

These arent the best pics, but maybe you can tell me if it could have a good chance being an original / wartime example.

    Thanks.

I would think that better photos, especially of the reverse marks and hardware, would be necessary. As this would be an expensive item, I think they'd be worth it as well.
    Best regards,

It is in the incorrect case. The silver Spanish Cross cases are blue. The one's for the bronze crosses are green. To evaluate the badge, you will need some straight on shots with better clarity.

If I do remember correctly, the Spanish Cross in silver, did also come in this type of green case.
Atleast I am pretty sure I have seen this combination before.

Yes I have seen them also in green cases...

I hope to get some better shots so the originality can be determined better. The hardware (catch/needleblock) looks from a distance IMO good when I compare it to original ones on this forum.

I personally have some slight doubts about the case.

            Better PICS Martin.

If you can get a good PIC of the center, compare the swastika with this one. Note how the areas between the arms slope upward. Original CEJ pieces are this way. I really can't tell from the PIC you show, but it doesn't look good to me at this point.

            Good luck!

              have received those extra pics.

I am personally not getting a warm feeling when I compare it to original examples. Do you?

It would be useful to see the pin as well of course but it might be a good one.

From what I can tell at this distance the makers mark is wrong.

I also think the case is modern.

The maker mark - in shape and the form of the letter E - does not match the ones I have on file either . Cutouts on the Swastika should be tapered . Just the basic notes I have ....
Did not mark the name down who owns this Juncker , but a perfect shot that shows the tapered cutouts !!!

                      Martin,

I'm personally not caring for it, but the PICS are just not detailed enough for me to say 100%.

                          Martin,

If you get it in hand, compare the details; just make sure you have return privileges in case it's not what it's supposed to be.

I too don't like the M/M. The 'E' and 'J' are not right IMO.
Check out this link which I posted. Go down past the oakleaves. It's a very good fake SCiG which looks similar to yours.
