    Hi guys,

Can I get some opinions on this cross please. It looks OK to me but I don't know much about crosses.

    regards

    Steve

Looks like a nice early Brass core B.H. Mayer cross to Me, I would be very happy to add it to My collection!

Edit, Then again an early L59? I am off to research this now as I am not sure! Interesting Date and I am sure Daniel, Robert or Douglas can pin it with ease!

              Hi Kev,

Thanks, it does look similar but the numbers do look a bit different.

              Regards

It is a unmarked L/15 Otto Schickle!
                IMO a rar original

You are right Steve, The date is different and I thought perhaps a variant core? I am confused as to the maker and here is a thread You may find interesting?

I still like the cross! Throw in the towell on the maker at this point though!

                    Kevin,

look to the number 3 from the number design! The the tail of the 3 is very high.
And the lower end of the 9 is nearly connected!

Additional the ribs stucture of the frame is no 26 and no L/59! The frame is textbook L/15 Otto Schickle ;-)

                        Hi guys,

Thanks to all for the help in identification, I don't think I would have been able to have done so without your help.

                        Regards
