German Cross in Gold - O.k.?

Dear friends,

I got this DK in Gold from Weitze this morning, trusting that it's good,
but since I have had mixed experiences in the past I would greatly
appreciate your educated opinion, before I fly over to Hamburg on Friday to pick it up on Monday at his shop.

I am more an LAH / document collector and medals are not my strong point
really.

Your input on the "20"-Zimmermann (light) is greatly appreciated.

Now I feel much better. Those who know me I am mostly collecting paper and medals are really not my thing. I am forcing myself a little to add some more decrative pieces and after they sold me a "Floch" WB in Gold a year ago I got more cautious.

Nice DKiG! I wonder if "They" as You stated refunded Your Money after selling You the Floch WB You speak about? If so was it a no questions asked quick refund? Your post makes it sound like Weitze sold it to You and I wonder if all was made right again?

Hi Kevin,

Yes, I showed the badge, complaining to one of the staff, who turned it around and showed it to Helmut. Without words I got a quick replacement which is now fine. No questions asked. But still, it was praised on the website at the time for being a rare (!) piece....
