    Help Wanted With Unmarked EK2

    Got this EK2 today & was trying too put a maker to it but no luck , so thought someone here can help me . The ribbon support ring looks to be only soldered on the front , also there are few die flaws on this piece .

                    This cross and its twins is the best made Standard one i ever saw, look at that crisp struck core! Too bad we did not find the maker... yet...

                        Hi Mark :
                        Not often encountered : S&L 3rd frame and 3rd core . Post 3 showa the conneted bead which S&L dies have . Very special features on the core : tall 1 and a mixed 9 cutouts ... 1st 9 is somewhat a 'slit-eye' 9 as the last 9 has a flat bottom cutout . 123 maker used same supplied frame .

                          Funny you should mention 123 using the same frame. I have a file of Luckyluudje's 123 with what appears to be the same core...

                            A nice and interesting cross Mark! I had though it might be an S&L frame by the features nearset the swastika but the die flaws on the corners were putting me off. I'm glad Douglas has nailed it though!
