Hi,
very, very, very nice but........ Could you give me the adress of "your" Santa. My Santa comes here at the end of Dezember and its quiet difficult that he finds such a beauty here.
Congratulations.
Hi Everybody,
Thanks for your kind words. I love it! I'm a happy boy. You guys stay away from my santa . I saw a very nice custom EK set Rick sold on the estand and its back on there. His stuff aint cheap when you look at the price, but when you get the item in your hand, photos don't do it justice (I'm not saying that as a phrase, I mean that literally!) and you rethink what expensive means. But leave my santa alone you vultures.
Frank, Samantha is just about ready to leave me because of all the time I spend on the computer looking at this site, but I told her you are on here as much if not more than I am, so she canceled her flight to Muenchen
I realized (because my mother is Hungarian) we celebrate Christmas on the night of the 24th and the Angels come and bring the presents, and my father is American so on the morning of the 25th Santa comes and brings presents. A lot of you Europeans asked about my santa, but I guess that American tradition is well known so you all were refering to him that way for my benifit. I was curious how you all celebrate so in the collector comunity forum I will start a thread about this. Please tell me there how you do Christmas. It would be interesting. BTW when I was little St. Niklas came and filled our shoes with candy on the 4th? of dec.
yes. except i've never seen one with the cardboard box, including mine. i
had two, but traded one for a cased 1914 EK 2. both of the ones i had
were cased, but sans cardboard box.
Hi R Murray
I would love to see a pic of your EK, can you post one here?
Best, Sal
Sorry, I don't have a digital camera. It's pretty much the same as yours though; another 26. I got it from Detlev Niemann about 2 years ago. Mine doesn't have the paper carton; just the cross & case.
