I agree it sure jumps out at you with the thinner edge outside the ribbing. May have been one of the versions hitler had quashed as it didnt have a true iron center, before they standardized manufacturing or possibly EARLY made for the navy or kriegsmarine to resist the salt air. Now i want one...what a GREAT scoop.JT..
