One piece 1939 Brass EK1

Does anybody know who the maker of this cross is? I have seen Spanish crosses and U-Boat Badges with these reverse fittings but the maker does not come to mind.

Someone who knows more about makers than I will weigh in with thoughts on this one. I will just say that the hardware looks unusual and interesting. May I ask what leads you to the conclusion that the construction is one-piece brass?

Hello:

Sure, I have concluded this because the piece is non magnetic and you can see brass exposed at the wear points. As for the one piece part there are no seems at the edges and more importantly there is absolutely no space between the black core and the beading but rather continuous metal.

Here is my denazified example of the same cross. These are genuine and date from early in the war. I don't know the maker tho'...

The clasp to the pin is made from sheet metal and not metal wire; mine is missing the clasp but you can see from the picture that the pin is the same.

Sorry not to know the maker; upon rereading your posts I don't think you need corroboration on its authenticty...
