Iron Cross 2nd Class help

Hi i am new in the hobby. This is my 1st Ek2 class i had. Its from a greek local dealer. Whould like to learn if original or not and any other information possible. Thanks for help. The cross seems to have some anomaly on its upper part.

Hello and welcome to the hobby and the forum.
Your cross is original and looks like a Steinhauer & Luck type frame. This was used by several different manufacturers so it's hard to say a definite maker unless it has a number on the ribbon ring.

Thank you very much for your answer. Got a Black Wound badge from the same dealer and it proved a fake. Happy to hear my EK2 is original though. I checked the ring but i did not see any maker markings. Thanks.

I agree with Adrian. I have over 100 EK2s in my collection and compared this one to the identified S & L in my personal collection and feel quite certin that it is an S & L.
