    Hi:
Bought it this Sat. Poorly executed mm shows only box outline.
Hinge, pin and catch... I think Deumer? Thanks, John

The outline of the number in the box looks like an (imposible) 2 ????

          Hi:
Just looked w/ #80 loop. Pretty sure it's a 3. It has a flat bottom as seen in
          this closeup of another Deumer.

          Thanks, John

Did any other maker mark thier crosses like this? Looks like a 3, which is harder to find than L/11.

Yes. I have searched them in these threads. I have seen them marked on the cross and on the pin... as 65 on outside pin, and 20 inside near hinge. John

Any obverse characteristics distinctive to Deumer?
                  Thanks everybody. John

                    John,

The distinctive features which usually catch my eye on the obverse of a Deumer are the thin numbers and the slightly rounded inner corners adjacent the swasi. A side note - they're a very nicely crafted EKI. By nicely crafted I mean the flanges are very uniformly finished.

It looks like a "3" Deumer to me. Nice cross!

I go along with it being a nice '3'

The cross is a nice Deumer, ... the number is too faint to read in the picture .
