    Knight's Cross Winner ID

I just recieved this nice private portrait of an RK winner. The seller did not know his identity, but there is some writting on the back. This in postcard format. I'm hoping someone here will know what this writting says and be able to perhaps cross reference the name to a known awardee, if a complete list exists. Nice picture one way or the other in my opinion.

Here is the first scan of the rear. I'm hoping the writing in blue ink may ID this man. There is a name, Adolph Schmahl, looks to be his unit and what I guess says "Knight's Cross on july 13, 1942. Am I right? The other writting I cannot read, or the last word in the blue writing. Any ideas?

Another view of the handwritten section. What does this say? I did not know this had any writing on it when I bought it.

Looks like I have an answer. I posted this in my portrait collection thread and got a response.

Thanks for the help everyone. I'll be checking out this site. How complete is the information on the winners?
